In order to support actions aimed at introduction and education about values and possibilities of natural resources sustainable development, the Institute for Nature Conservation participated in the performance of the education program of the camp for students, called “ Get to know and protect the environment- Kosmaj 2010”.

The International Conference on Geo-Heritage and Geo-Tourism “Geotrends 2010” ,was held from 24th – 26th July 2010, in Novi Sad. Dr Dusan Mijovic, Head of Geo-diversity Department of the Instituted was among the Conference participants.

The fourth year Institute for Nature Conservation of Serbia and Garden Centre supported the contest “The Prettiest Balcony” in the Retirement home “Bezanijska kosa”, with thirty tenants as participants.

In a beautiful ambient on Zlatibor Mountain, the Institute organized eleventh park sports event from 1st-4th July, gathering of the sports teams of Serbian National Parks, the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, National Parks of the Republic of Srpska and the Institute.

Park of Bukovacka Spa in Arandjelovac is one of the oldest and the prettiest preserved city and spa parks of Serbia. The Institute for Nature Conservation of Serbia, in accordance with the Law on Nature Protection, for the first time proposes park of Bukovacka Spa to be conserved as a natural resource, which means the Nature Monument- natural resource of a great value- II (second) category by established regime of protection of III (third) level.
